Short Vacation to Massanutten Resort!!

Mimmi and Dooders have several time shares!! But the one or two that they have at Massanutten are their favorites!! Each year they put the word out and invite anyone and everyone in the family along who would like to come. Well, apparently, no one took them up on their offer until this year! We took our girls and my sister, Jessie, took her girls! It was definitely one wild and crazy trip full of many emotions!

Emily and Haley had so much fun getting to spend so much extra time with Mimmi, Dooders, Aunt Jessie and two of their cousins, Eliza and Olivia! They had so much fun they didn't seem to miss us when we disappeared for a little while every now and then! Emily got to sleep in Mimmi and Dooders room both nights we were there! Which means her and Eliza got to stay up WAY LATE and play! And Haley came with us and slept Beautifully in her Pack-N-Play in our living room!

Our days were filled with movies, eating lots of yummy foods, playing at the park (when it wasn't pouring rain, riding around the resort and swimming!! Mom, Jessie and I even signed ourselves up for a Water Aerobics class!! It was the first time we had ever taken one and it was SO MUCH FUN! We were all 3 the youngest people there by a long shot, but all the cute little ladies were so nice and funny too!! For that hour Dooders and Micah watched all 4 girls and got them dressed in their bathing suits and drove everyone down to the pool to meet us when our class was up!

It was a nice vacation, but as it goes with most vacations it's nice to go, but it is always nice to get back too! We took our time heading home on Saturday and stopped by Sharp Shopper and by a Consignment Sale on our way home!! It was a Good Time, Lots of Pictures were taken from everyone and many memories were made that is for sure!!

23 Weeks Pregnant with Our Little Son!

Here is my 23 Week Shot! Things are going well so far with this pregnancy!! As you all know we had our ultrasound last week and found out that our third child is a happy, healthy little boy! And we have decided to name him Ethan Micah!! We are thrilled and so are the girls!!! This pregnancy is going well overall. I am a lot more sore and achy this time around, but I know that is normal as each pregnancy is a bit different! But overall I am doing great! I feel good, I am able to play and dance and take care of the girls and since my girls are GREAT NAPPERS I am able to squeeze in a nap of my own almost every day too! I went to my 23 week appointment yesterday and Dr. Wolanski said that everything was looking good! And that Ethan's heart beat sounded wonderful!! I do LOVE that part about going to the doctor, hearing that sweet but strong little heartbeat!! It is an amazing experience, that is for sure! And we took both girls with us yesterday, and they got to hear it too!! It was so fun to watch their faces as they were trying to process what that was and what it was all about:)

Life is good!! And I am happy to be pregnant with our third baby! And we are looking forward to meeting him sometime around the middle of January.....my official due date is January 17, 2012!!!

Couldn't Let These Memories Slip Away!

I have been very fortunate this pregnancy to have friends give me TONS of maternity clothes and not just friends from Charlottesville, but friends from days past who have since moved away! And I will tell you it is so much fun getting mail, but made even more fun when the mail you get is CLOTHES!! Just a few days ago Micah brought a package home for me from the mail and when I opened it, it was from my dear friend Livia, I found this adorable pink maternity dress! Yay for hand-me-downs and even a bigger YAY for thoughtful friends!! I LOVE it and am excited to get to wear it soon!! As long as I can get it away from Emily for long enough:)

This weekend Micah decided to go for an early morning run, but on his way downstairs Emily woke up! So, being the amazing husband that he is he volunteered to take her along in the stroller so that I could finish getting ready for the day!! And Emily was MORE THAN EXCITED to go!!!

We are Excited to Announce....

18 Months Already....SERIOUSLY?!?!?

Our Little Haley turned the ripe old age of 18 MONTHS last Friday! Man, sometimes it sure is Hard to Believe that we have 2 toddlers (well Emily seems a little older than that) and one on the way! But it is true and we are so happy about it!

Haley is definitely our little adventurer! She LOVES to try new things, although sometimes she may be a little timid at first:) The Girl has SO MUCH personality it just comes out in whatever she is or isn't doing! But I mean with a big sister like Emily how could you NOT have personality!!

Micah and I were talking this morning before he left for work about the things that we thought Haley had learned/accomplished since her one year mark! And mainly she has just become more of the little girl that she is which is SO WONDERFUL!!
Her biggest accomplishment is that this past Sunday, September 11, 2011, SHE ATTENDED NURSERY AT CHURCH FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME! She was a little apprehensive, but she went and that was Wonderful for EVERYONE!! And one of the greatest things is that Emily and Haley will be in the same nursery class for the rest of the year, so that way when either of them gets nervous or scared they will have each other to make them feel happy!

A few more things that Haley has become more efficient at are: drawing, coloring, pretty much art of any kind!! She LOVES to have a pen or pencil in her hand with paper nearby! She has also become quite the lover of books! If things get quiet around here you can pretty much guarantee that wherever Haley is at she will have a book and be thumbing through the pages! It really is the CUTEST thing!

Micah Turned 36!!!

This has been a super crazy, busy and hectic week for us as our sweet little Haley has had a fever all week long, which is one of the reasons why I am JUST getting around to doing a birthday post for Micah!! But reasons or not, nonetheless, here it is!!
Micah decided to try working on his birthday this year just to see what it was like again and once again he was reminded that working on your birthday isn't really that great! However, he did get taken out to lunch by his co-workers ( and I was lucky enough to get to come along to!) and they had a cake when he got back to the office to celebrate all of the August birthdays....luckily for him his birthday is the last day of the month, so it seemed like this nice celebration just for him:)
Then that evening we headed to Mimmi and Dooders' house for dinner and some birthday cake!! It was a Great Day and I am so thankful that I got to spend it with my Micah!! Happy Birthday Babe!! Here is to and Eternity of Birthdays Together!!!
