Our Little Boy Is TEN MONTHS Old!

As I mentioned in the previous post, we are a little behind in our pictures for the month of November! But  better late than never, right? Our sweet boy turned TEN MONTHS OLD on November 12th and we finally were able to sneak in his 10 month photo shoot last Sunday November 17th at Mimmi and Dooders house!!
It was a Sunday, and as usual at our house on Sundays naps are a little off tilt, so the kiddos fell asleep in the car on the way to Mimmi and Dooders and didn't wake up all to happy or cooperative, but we were still able to get them to participate and even got a few good photos too!
Ethan has been such a sweet blessing to our family over these past TEN MONTHS!! And he is learning and growing and wanting to become more and more like his sisters with each new day! Some of his most memorable TEN MONTH MILESTONES have been:
~ He is beginning to crawl, and for him that is scooting around every floor he can as fast as he can!! It is super cute to watch!
~ He has also started to do push ups, we are guessing this is probably preparing him for an actual crawl, but for now we like to just imagine how he is just trying to stay fit like his Daddy and get his daily exercises in!
~ Also, poor little buddy has had several visits to our pediatricians office this month due to colds and coughs that have caused him to be congested, etc. One of our last visits to the office they sent us home with a nebulizer and prescription for albuterol....which we are down to using about once a day now and we are happy to report that he is on the mend and only wheezes every so often instead of almost all of the time! But through it all he has been such a trooper!

We sure love you little buddy and are excited to see what Month ELEVEN has in store!

Me with My Youngest and My Oldest!

Family Shot, JUST after nap time!

Take Two!

Mommy and Daddy have to Kiss Every Once in a While too:)

And then the craziness ensues!

I love snuggling up with my little buddy!

Month Ten of the Look Alike Photos!

Ethan inspects a leaf while Emily keeps Lamby warm in her dress.

How does Ethan look now?

Let's get in a group and take a picture.

Why isn't Haley getting in the picture?

She's going to get some food?

This requires a serious inspection.

It's a leaf!

Watch it dance.

REWIND.....Here is Some of our Thanksgiving Art!!

I have said it before and so I will say it again, I LOVE to do art projects with my kiddos! And it is a double bonus when the Holiday Seasons roll around and we can do a whole month revolving around one thing! Last month it was Halloween, this month it has been THANKSGIVING and next month Christmas! I just love it, and especially since one of my sisters hooked me up with a great website of lots of cool school and art learning ideas!! We are having so much fun!
As I looked back at our blog, I couldn't believe that my last post was about Halloween! It seems like that was ages ago! But I guess as this time of year approaches life usually does pick up pace a bit. And with Elections, A new movie theater opening in town, Thanksgiving and Black Friday, oh and throw in several weeks of at least one of the five of us being sick with one thing or another it has been a bit Hectic to say the least:) But FINALLY we are back and almost all fully up and running again and I thought it was time to share some of our Thanksgiving Art Time!!

I found out that with Thanksgiving Art, it usually revolves around Turkeys or Pilgrims~ We did our best to be creative so that we could have something new and different to do each time art time rolled around~~ Here is Emily with her Turkey!

And here is Haley, VERY Happy with her Turkey!

Emily traced all of the letters of the alphabet (upper and lower case) on a Thanksgiving Themed paper!

Gotta love just plain ol' coloring!!

And then there was Ethan trying to enjoy himself...until one of his sisters' put a princess crown on his head!

Haley and her famous "Hand Turkey!"

And more "Hand Turkey" Time!

Two Little Princesses posing with their works of art!

Emily starting her Pilgrim! I will have to say this was probably one of their favorite projects, because these pilgrim girls stayed around for quite a while!!!

Haley is LOVING learning how to use tape!

Emily drew a picture of me! How Sweet!

Emily was quite happy with her pilgrim doll too, if you couldn't tell:)

Ethan chillaxin' and ready for a snack:)

And Haley and her pilgrim Doll!! Love the look on her face.....PRICELESS!

And Last, but certainly NOT least, this is what our refrigerator door looks like as we near the end of November!! I LOVE it!!

Halloween Part THREE.....Trick or Treat Time!

Our Halloween Day was FULL this year!! Full of Family, Full of Friends and Full of Candy!! We all got up early, but that is just because that is us on a normal basis, sent Micah off to work with Halloween Decorated Sugar Cookies and then I got the kiddos dressed in their costumes and we headed out for a day of visiting and adventure!!
First Stop, Great Aunt Tede's work! The girls got out and grabbed their pumpkins! When they saw Tede they gave her big hugs and then we followed her through the halls and on the elevators to visit all of her friends and co-workers! They all though the trio was ADORABLE!! The girls (since they had their pumpkins in hand) even got some Halloween treats!!!
Next Stop, Mema's House!  The kids are always excited to visit there! We came in surprisingly their Great Aunt Gail had carved a pumpkin and set out some decorations!! And then a little later their Great Aunt Debra even showed up! They had a blast together and enjoyed pizza and candy on top of it all! Ethan was a little under the weather, but boy he was a trooper through it all!! He just "rolled with it!".
Our last stop of the day was The American Red Cross, Mimmi's Work, to see friends their and get a few treats along the way....although Mommy was closely monitoring since nap time was quickly approaching!
When we got home and everyone was getting ready for naps I noticed Ethan was feeling pretty warm and so I gave him a little Tylenol and then took his temperature (which we DON'T do unless they are HOT), I was SHOCKED when the thermometer read 103.9 degrees! I quickly called the doctor and they suggested bringing him in just in case he had an ear infection. I quickly called Dooders to see if he could come stay with the girls while I took him, and he came right over. Ethan did great, found out that he had a sore throat (not strep though) and a virus. Poor little buddy, but with Tylenol  ibuprofen and extra snuggles he seems to be much better today!!
Later that evening we bundled E Buddy up with a tight hat over his ears and all headed out, with Mimmi and Dooders to trick or treat in our neighborhood! The girls really enjoyed themselves, although it was a little too cold for them. Finally we all made it back home, checked out the candy, took baths and called it a Good Halloween Night!! We definitely did not let any dust grow under our feet yesterday, that is for sure!

Halloween Part TWO, The Trunk or Treat!

We have had a fun filled week of Halloween!! Our Celebration, Part TWO was on Tuesday night! It was our ward's ANNUAL Trunk or Treat!! Due to the weather it was an inside event, all the way, this year and I will have to say I really enjoyed that! The chili was AWESOME, the pies were to die for, and the company we kept was AWESOME!! It was just a great night, and our kiddos loved having their costumes on, seeing lots of grandparents, an aunt, a cousin and tons of friends, and the trunk or treat was SO FUN! We even lost Emily for a minute or two and when we found her she had been making her way back around the horse shoe of classrooms handing out candy!! She has DEFINITELY gotten the hang of trick or treating!! I think she will be teaching Haley AND Ethan all of the ropes next year:)

Got in some Mimmi and Dooders snuggles too!
