Moving on Up!

Today was another hot one in Charlottesville! The temperature was in the mid 80's so I decided to take Emily into town to go to the Park. Lucky for us, Mommers and Dooders met us there for lunch! And Mommers (being the awesome Grandma that she is) brought Emily this cool little tub to go swimming in. So, of course, Emily had to try it out while we were all together at the park! And here she is enjoying it.......
There's nothing better than being in the arms of someone who loves you, especially when it's Mommers!
One of our stops today was Babies R Us. We went in to get this cool little mesh contraption so that we can start to put real food inside and Emily can just gum away at it. When we got home, to keep with the summer afternoon feeling, we thought we would see how she liked her new mesh holder. So we put a slice of watermelon in it, and she ABSOLUTELY loved it! There is a cute little video at the bottom to prove it!
Overall it was a fun summer day and we just had to break out the camera to take some photos! Emily just gets cuter and more fun with each new day and we are so excited to be her parents! Family time is so much fun!
Here are a few more photos.....
She LOVES her Daddy, her watermelon, and her new mesh "toy"!

She is a SERIOUS eater!

After we finished our watermelon, we decided it was the perfect time to try out our new "pool". Emily wasn't too sure about it at first, the water was a bit cooler than she is used to in her baths!

There's that smile that we all love so much!

We thought since Emily still can't sit up by herself that it might be a nice idea to put the bumbo seat in the pool with her so that she can sit there without slipping everywhere. Again, if the water would have been a tad warmer she may have enjoyed it a bit more.

Smiling with Daddy at the end of her little wading time in the bucket!

Here's a cute little video of Emily gnawing on her watermelon!! Enjoy!

What a cutiepie! I love the mesh feeder contraptions! I do not, however like trying to clean the likes of banana out of it. I think I am throwing ours away and buying new because of banana issues. Are you coming to the singles' ward tomorrow!? i would like to take pictures of all the babies if possible (all together)
