Picking Peaches as a Family!

It was a beautiful morning today so we decided (along with Mimmi and Dooders) to head to Crozet, VA and pick peaches at Chiles Orchard!! (Plus, I have been itching to make some more Peach Freezer Jam, and what better to do that with than fresh peaches!!).
When we got there the girls were SO EXCITED!! Emily had already learned that you pick the pink or yellow peaches NOT the green ones. (She is a smart little girl, what can I say?).
They LOVED everything about the experience from checking out the little store, to standing in front of the HUGE fans to cool off, to riding in the wagon, to being lifted way up high to pick peaches, to eating peaches that THEY picked, to FINALLY enjoying some fresh peach frozen yogurt just before leaving!! It was a Sweet experience and I am so grateful that we got to have them (and Mimmi and Dooders) to share it with today!!
