Emily Marie....Our Little Water Bug!

As most of you might remember, Emily started her summer out swimming in a bucket on Mommers and Dooders' front porch, well she has come a long way since that hot day back in May and has loved every second of it! She loves having swim dates with her cousins, those are the best!!
We were actually able to finally get her in a "real pool" earlier this month when we went to Greensboro, NC. Since then we took her out to another pool while we were at Mark and Danielle's baby shower and she thought that was a blast too! Sorry we didn't have our camera "on the ready" that day!
But here are some of the photos of Emily's Pool Days that we have taken over the course of the summer!! Enjoy!!

Snuggling with my girl by the baby pool!

She loves to really explore things while she is in the pool! Love her serious face!

Emily's cousin, Avery, enjoying her time in the pool too!

Emily and Avery were way too distracted to even think about looking at the camera for most of the afternoon!

When you've got pool toys life is good!

Here are a couple of shots, some are duplicates, from our time in the pool at the hotel in Greensboro. This was Emily's first time in a life-sized pool! After just a few minutes she really got into it!

She was really interested in the rafters too!

A week or two ago, for my mom's birthday, we got to get Eliza and Emily together for some play time in the afternoon and since it was hot, it was the perfect opportunity for a swim (or should I say, sit in the pool!)

Little Miss Eliza Lynn LOVES her toys!

Together, and happy as can be, as long as they are their toys in their mouths! And look Emily even has one for each hand!

Check out the Mohawks on these girls!!! Punk Rockers in the making!!

Emily is ADORABLE! You and Micah look so happy. I finally caught up on your blog this morning and found out you are expecting! What fantastic news. Honey, you don't need ANY advice on how to raise two under two - you mastered twins years ago. Can you believe Woodson & Patrick are 10 1/2 and Teague was baptized a few weeks ago? I need to get those boys back there to visit again. We still think of you, Kim & Keith often. We love you!
