On Sunday, February 19, 2012, Micah gave Ethan his baby blessing at church! It was such a special day! Micah has been able to give all 3 of our children their baby blessings when they were just a few weeks old. I am so thankful for days like this! Even though they were calling for some snowy weather and we were unsure of whether to follow through with the blessing this past Sunday or move it up 2 weeks I am so thankful that we were prompted to have it when we did!
Micah and I and Emily and Mimmi and Dooders, and Nathan and Sarah and their 5 kiddos were all able to make it down! And it was great to have them! Micah, Uncle Nathan, Dooders and Bishop Croft stood in the blessing circle and Daddy gave such a beautiful blessing to our sweet little boy! I felt the spirit so strongly during the blessing, I know that our Heavenly Father is so pleased with Ethan and the little man that he is already and for the man that he will become!
Ethan was pretty chill before and after his blessing, but during it he got a little fussy, but everyone did a good job of keeping him bouncing and that seemed to calm him a bit! And plus, he looked SUPER ADORABLE in his blessing outfit, a white tuxedo (complete with a coat tails and a white bow tie!!) which we borrowed from our friends Troy and Cheryl Johnson! I am so thankful for the blessings that come from the Priesthood and I am thankful that Micah holds and honors the priesthood and for the blessings that come into our family and our home from our Father in Heaven through that priesthood.
