Our Little Ethan turned the ripe old age of 8 MONTHS on September 12, 2012! He is an amazingly handsome, fun and funny little boy! He is full of spark and personality and he is my little cuddle buddy!! One thing that is for sure about this little buddy is that he LOVES his Mommy! No matter where I am, if I am within hearing range he will turn all around in search of his missing mommy! He is too funny! And he still tolerates all of the love that both of his sisters have to give without too much complaint:) He LOVES to eat Cheerios and Kix, he loves to hear any of us sing to him.....a good verse of I Am a Child of God can quiet him almost instantly! He is such a cute little guy, and we are so happy to have him as our little guy!!
Here are a few things that he has learned quite well in his 8th Month of Life:
~He is starting to move around a bit, not crawling yet, but scooting himself around!! Crawling is not far behind, I am sure:)
~He has gained a big love of Cheerios and Kix this month!! I think he would rather eat these 2 cereals than almost anything else!
~Much to our dismay, Ethan has also started grinding his teeth! We hope that it won't be long term, but he is doing it, for now:( That is one sound, that for me, is like nails on a chalk board and it gives me shivers as soon as I hear it!
~ He has also become quite good at picking food and other items up using his thumb and index finger!!
~Lastly, he woke up on the morning of his 8 Month Birthday with his FIRST COLD, which after taking him to the doctor found out that it was actually Croup:( But he got a steroid shot to treat the croup and he has been doing MUCH better ever since!!
