Happy 3rd Birthday Emily Marie!!!

It is so hard for me to believe that our little baby girl has now turned the ripe old age of THREE!!! It seemed like so long that we waited and prayed and hoped that we would be blessed enough to be parents and have her join our family and now 3 years has flown by like the blink of an eye!!
She has taught us so so much in the last three years!! She has taught us how to laugh, how to smile, how to discipline (although that is still a big work in progress), how to have fun with the littlest things, how to potty train a little person and the list could go on forever! But most importantly our little Emily Marie has taught us how to love unconditionally with no strings attached and how to forgive immediately! She truly does make our every day brighter!!
She has such a sweet, innocent yet sparkling personality that we are all in love with!! And the greatest blessing to us all is that she LOVES LOVES LOVES being a BIG SISTER!! She loves to teach, she loves to cuddle, she loves to know that some one is watching her every move (either for the good or for the not so good):) She is shy around strangers, but once you bond with her for about a half hour or so she is your best friend and will play and play with you until you can't possibly play anymore! She also LOVES to read books! She loves to be read to and to crawl up in a corner or spread out on the floor and read all by herself!! She is one AMAZING little THREE YEAR OLD and we are so blessed to have her in our lives!! We sure love you, Emily Marie!! Thanks for coming to our family when you did!!

For Emily's Birthday Morning we went to Mema's house for a visit! Where Mema, and her Great Aunts Debra and Gail and Cousin Terri had set up a super fun tea party in her honor!! We took dress up clothes and they provided all of the accessories and Emily (and Haley) had a blast!!

All Dolled Up and Ready to Party!

Haley wasn't shy about getting accessorized and she was ready for a good tea party too!!

Haley drinking milk from a fancy cup!

What a Set Up!

Emily LOVES her baby dolls too!

One of the Greatest things about Tea Parties is all the yummy treats that you get to try!

I LOVE this picture of Haley sipping out of her tiny tea cup!! This girl cracks us up, constantly!!

Emily taking a drink from her new water bottle that she got from Mimmi and Dooders!

Haley, waiting patiently for some more snacks!

You can't have a Birthday Tea Party without a Birthday Cake for the Birthday Girl!

Admiring her cake before we cut in to it!

The Whole Scene!! Can you see why they have SO MUCH FUN?!?!?

All of the guests at the Tea Party (minus Cousin Terri, who is taking the picture!)

Later that evening we took the birthday celebrations to CiCi's Pizza!! Emily wanted pizza and we needed a good place to celebrate that was low stress (since we have a lot going on right now with Christmas, a birthday and a new little baby boy coming to our family in TWO WEEKS!) so we all agreed that Cici's was the place!! And it was a Great Idea!! Just enough people showed up and everyone that came had a Great Time, Enjoyed some yummy pizza and got to spend some time honoring the birthday girl too!

Emily and Cousin Gracie sharing a Hug!

Emily enjoyed having her Cousin Avery there too, to share in all of her excitement!!

And the little Sister was more than happy to come eat pizza and cupcakes and celebrate Emily's birthday!

Uncle Jacob, Aunt Tiffany and Cousin Gracie added to excitement of the evening too!

And of course Bamie, Pop, Aunt Jess and Cousin Avery helped to make the evening special too!

And here we are, as crazy as ever!!

One of the best parts of the party......Toy Story Cupcakes!!

Can You Tell they were a hit!!

And of course, any good party for a three year old has to have presents (and a big cousin to help ohh and ahh over them!!)

Emily LOVES her art supplies!

She was so busy checking out the details she couldn't even stop for a picture:)

Until she gave her present a hug:)

Without a Doubt, Haley's favorite part of the party was the CUPCAKE!!!

Can you feel the excitement and the contentment:)

This is a great shot that captures the essence of this moment in time for Haley!

She was NOT going to let that cupcake go until it was ALL GONE!

As the party was coming to a close we snapped a few more pictures before we all headed our separate ways! Here is Haley and Cousin Ella!

Emily and her Cousin Phoebe also had a good time together!

And of course Pop and Bamie came to wish the birthday girl lots of birthday loves too!! (Mimmi and Dooders were also there....of course.....but we failed to snap a photo:( )

Overall, it was a GREAT Day and we are so happy and blessed to have so much family who love and support us whether or not they were able to participate in this year's festivities! We are excited for the many years to come and all the memories that we will continue to make together!! Here's to your 4th Year Sweet "P" We love you so much!!
