A Fun-Filled Weekend!!

I am not sure about the rest of my family, but I for one was REALLY excited and looking forward to this past weekend! I was excited to have Micah off work for a couple of days, excited that Mummis was coming down for a visit and taking us to breakfast at IHOP, excited to go to a party for one of my brother's and sister in law to find out if they were having a little BOY or GIRL join their family in just a few months (and they are having a BOY), and I was excited because Ethan and I got to head to church....him for the first time and me for the first time since he had been born:)

It was just a great weekend all the way around. It was one of those weekends that leaves you with a happy, peaceful feeling inside that you hope can last for a long time, and I know that right now it is only Monday but it is lasting so far!

We played dress up Friday morning and afterwards Haley came downstairs all dressed up and ready for "Art Time"!

Then on Saturday morning we were excited to have Mummis come down for a short visit! We all had fun chatting and playing and then she treated us all to a yummy breakfast at IHOP before she headed back to NOVA!

And on Saturday afternoon we got to go visit Mark, Danielle and Colton!! They had a little party to announce that they will be welcoming their 2nd little BOY into their family at the end of May!! We are so Excited!! Him and Ethan will be such good buddies:)

On Sunday I got to head back to church for the first time since Ethan was born and Ethan got to go for the very first time!! It was so great to head back and to be introduce our little man!! Of course, he spent his whole time either in our arms or in his car seat....but that is what you do when you are 3 and a half weeks old!!
