7 Years of Marriage and Still Partying it Hard!

     Micah and I celebrated our 7th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY this past weekend! I am so blessed to be married to my best friend and that I get to spend all eternity with him too, double bonus!!! 

      We were fortunate that Micah's work Christmas party coincided with our anniversary weekend, so we decided to take advantage of the great opportunity! At first we were bummed out because their Christmas party turned from a family event to a night of Gambling with only one guest allowed and no kids. But then when we realized we could get a discounted room at the hotel, which happened to be the Double Tree, and we would get a free dinner at the party. We decided to skip the gambling segment and come back at the end for desert and door prizes. Woohooo!!

        And we are sure glad we did! We had SO MUCH FUN!! We sampled a warm Double Tree cookie, ate a yummy dinner, visited with quite a few of Micah's co-workers, took some funny photos in a free photo booth, got to see an AMAZING gingerbread village that is set up at the Double Tree Hotel, and the icing on the cake was that we won a ONE HUNDRED DOLLAR Gift Card to Best Buy!! We didn't even have to gamble to do it, we just used our 10 tickets that we got when we arrived, but 6 in the Best Buy gift card box, and 4 in the Bone Fish Grill gift card box. And we were SHOCKED when they called our number!!! Whooohoooo!! And a triple bonus, the girlfriend of one of Micah's co-workers had recently gotten a new camera, so she was ready and willing to take lots of pictures, which we have posted below!!

Another reason to love Double Tree. As we were leaving the party, we decided to ask the people at the front desk of the hotel about their breakfast buffet. The woman who had checked us in looked us up in the computer and said that our stay didn't include the breakfast. She paused a moment, then reached for something under the counter and said, "I'm not supposed to do this, but here you go." And she handed us two passes for the breakfast buffet... for free! Overall, it was probably the BEST stay that we have ever had at a hotel!! Awesome 7 Year Anniversary Micah Cordon, Thanks for Planning it!! I love you babe!!
